A unique, all-suite concept, Napa Valley’s Five Star Meadowood Spa features eight treatment suites (six singles; two couples), each offering stunning leafy, forested views and a spacious, private environment that includes a private bathroom, steam shower, and daybed. The spa also offers boutiques, relaxation gardens, and a healthy, award-winning culinary menu.
Therapists are all trained in “wellness coaching,” and treatment plans are curated for each individual.
The suite experience includes a pre-treatment — relaxation tea, as well as either a customized steam or dry body brushing — followed by the treatment plan created with the therapist. It concludes with a post-treatment “organic elixir.” The treatment menu is a celebration of vine, Earth, air, and field. The culinary menu echoes this, with dishes inspired by the same.
Spa packages include, “From the Earth,” which focuses on the mind and aims to deeply relax and relieve stress. These treatment incorporate by nature found within Meadowood’s own landscape, such as Black Walnut, which is used to create a gentle scrub, enhanced with custom-blended aromatherapy oils.
“From the Vines,” uses grape extracts, “rich in antioxidants and free-radicals with resveratrol,” to “reduce oxidative stress.”
And “The Air We Breathe” is a three and a half hour offering, focusing on recovery, ideal for guests feeling the effects of jet lag or wedding and celebration festivities.
A la carte options are also available, and there is a menu designed specifically for men.
