The stunning Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono recently opened its doors in January, 2020. The luxury mountain resort is located in Niseko, the most famous ski resort area in Japan, and is the third Park Hyatt hotel in the country. 

Spectacular natural landscape

Set in a spectacular natural landscape with incredible views of Mount Yotei and the Annupuri ranges, Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono is a stylish year-round mountain escape designed for enriching experiences in an environment of carefully curated art and contemporary design. The exclusive Hanazono side of Mt. Annupuri is renowned for world-class skiing and snowboarding facilities and exceptional powder snow. Other celebrated features of the area include Hanazono Golf course, natural onsen hot springs, and breathtaking scenery of abundant lush nature and majestic mountains. The hotel is approximately a two hour drive from New Chitose Airport near Sapporo and a 10-minute drive from Kutchan train station.

Pristine wilderness surroundings

The hotel reflects its pristine wilderness surroundings, underscored by a sense of calm, matched with the signature sophistication of the Park Hyatt brand. In addition to onsite ski valet services, the hotel will offer a variety of unique experiences throughout the year with Park Hyatt’s personal and customized services to ensure a memorable stay, according to a media release.

Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono features 100 luxury hotel guest rooms, including nine suites with private semi-outdoor onsen baths, and more than 80 residences in four separate buildings, all with ski-in/ ski-out convenience. Rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows offering remarkable views of Mount Yotei or the Annupuri ranges. 


Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono will also offer an extensive selection of cuisine in six signature restaurants, focusing on local produce from the land and sea, as well as private dining rooms, bars, lounges and wine cellars.

Massage inspired by the surrounding Shirakaba Forest

Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono’s Signature Spa offers a wide range of body and facial treatments. There are four single and two couple treatment rooms, a 25-meter pool, hot spring onsen baths and a Health Club, all under the care of Park Hyatt’s dedicated team.

Among the treatments on offer are the Shirakaba Forest Relaxing Massage, in which guests are invited to envision themselves in the spa’s surrounding Shirakaba Forest as they experience a classic Swedish-style massage using long strokes and light pressure to increase circulation and achieve overall relaxation. Other enticing options include the Hokkaido Foot Massage, which treats guests’ aching feet and lower legs with the ultimate pampering featuring a hot towel compress and invigorating massage, and the Bliss for Two – Couples Massage & Private Onsen, a personalized full-body massage featuring heated nourishing oil followed by a soak in a private onsen overlooking a babbling brook while enjoying fresh fruit and a selection of a healthy beverage.
