Jumeirah has opened the brand new wellness retreat, Talise Spa at Jumeirah Al Wathba Desert Resort & Spa, set deep in the mesmerizing desert landscape of Abu Dhabi.
This intimate destination spa is located in an exclusive natural environment, and offers a luxurious experience in which to embark on a wellness journey, 40 minutes away from the urban bustle of downtown Abu Dhabi.
Jumeirah Al Wathba Desert Resort & Spa sits in a gloriously calm setting and draws inspiration from a historic desert village, with “luscious courtyards and walkways,” and water features and pools inspired by the natural surroundings. A quintessential Arabian-style property sprawling over 22,000 square metres of tranquil desert, the resort features Arabian-style rooms, villas with private pools, six restaurants and bars including Al Mabeet, “a desert dining experience which captures the spirit of the past.”
A 1,000 square meter pool stretches out into the desert and expands into secluded inlets and coves.

The destination Talise Spa features 13 luxury treatment rooms, private terraces, and an open-air yoga platform. Rejuvenation journeys include Turkish Hammams, steam rooms, snow caves, an ice bucket shower, hot and cold plunge pools, and crystal salt and cryotherapy rooms.
Among the many enticing treatment highlights are the Red Carpet Facial by Margy’s Monte Carlo, the signature Al Wathba Revitalising Massage, and the Hammamii Desert Massage ritual, which incorporates deep breathing meditation and utilizes nourishing local Hammamii oils for trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage. Therapists are trained to tailor each treatment to every guest’s individual wishes. The Spa also offers sound therapy and cryotherapy.
