The Rose Spa at The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Nashville, is a gorgeous space with exquisite treatments in the heart of downtown Nashville.
The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Nashville, opened its doors in August, 2020. The hotel is located downtown, in Nashville’s SoBro district, steps from Music City Center and the Nashville Symphony.
The Joseph unites the city’s cultural and artistic diversity, history, design and Southern hospitality in a new building Designed by Arquitectonica.
The 21-story hotel features 297 guest rooms and suites, and more than 22,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor space for meetings, events and entertaining. State-of-the-art technology, chef-driven catering, and world-class service create an ideal setting for versatile, personalized gatherings and a sophisticated and exemplary guest experience.
The hotel was conceptualized by The Pizzuti Companies – a leader in developing, marketing and managing real estate known for a love of art and flair for design. Unforgettable views and a finely curated art collection are woven throughout the property.
Rose Spa
The rooftop at the Joseph is home to the hotel’s epicenter of wellness, Rose, a 5,500-square-foot spa and salon. The spa’s design weaves in an appreciation for art with subtle nods to Nashville — the ornate reception desk is Nudie Suit-inspired, and complemented by abstract floral pieces throughout the relaxation area and six treatment rooms. The spa features steam rooms with ice fountains and multi-sensory experience showers. An adjoining 1,500-square-foot fitness center includes hi-tech equipment and captivating skyline views with floor-to-ceiling windows.
Every service at Rose begins with a foot scrub and soak in an oversized copper tub with signature rose-infused botanicals. Services are offered with Biologique Recherche and Ila products.
We asked the spa’s director, Stephanie Hensel about her favourite treatment at Rose and she said, “My favorite treatment is our Rose Indulgence. It is one of our signature treatments, created in partnership with ILA, and is a treatment for your back, scalp and face.”
“Rose Indulgence
This indulgent treatment for back, scalp, and face harnesses the healing vibrations of rose quartz crystals and pure Damescena Rose Oil to release tension and revitalize the skin. A chakra-balancing back treatment soothes, a scalp massage relieves tension, and meridian tapping techniques revitalize and refresh. Acupressure with hot poultices and rose quartz crystal restores the skin’s naturally glowing appearance. As a garnet face scrub protects and energizes, a cooling jade mask helps reduce the appearance of fine lines.”
The Rose Spa launched using Book4Time software and Hensel said their software trainer was “fantastic.”
She explained: “She was great. She must have answered 7,000 questions. We were laughing with her most days because things were crazy and we were all running around and then actually stopping to do training. And we were never in the same space. And she was just really, really great. We had fun with her and it was amazing. I love that I have video recordings of all of our training sessions, so I can go back and watch her do the things that I thought I remembered and probably didn’t.”
The spa is, of course, operating under COVID restrictions. The locker room, relaxation area and wet facilities are closed for now, and Hensel is just excited about the hotel and spa’s opening and can’t say enough about the beauty of the design.
“Honestly, my hotel is amazing. The Pizzuti family is known for their art collection and there are 1100 pieces of art in the hotel. My spa desk is simply gorgeous. It’s stunning. Every detail in this hotel was thought out and it is simply spectacular.”
